Preparing to Teach

• Making sure that all the compilers are installed correctly on the system

• Run all the examples beforehand at least once

• Be aware which parts could be skipped in case needed

• Give enough time for the exercises

• Do not open too many tabs and switch among them

• Emphasize the differences between C/C++ and Fortran for certrain directives

• Briefly introduce the exercises before and make a short summary afterwards on the most important take-home messages
